Greenwich Hospital Musicians
Two Greenwich Pensioners, one a fifer and the other a drummer of the Greenwich Hospital band.
The source of this Cruikshank image is a work called 'Greenwich Portraits' by Charles Kadwell, of which there is a copy in the Greenwich Heritage Centre library, and complete prints bear the inscription at the bottom 'GREENWICH HOS MUSICIANS, 1834' as part of the image. [PvdM 4/04, amended 4/10].
