day shape, signal, towing
A painted metal day shape in the form of a diamond which indicates that a vessel is either under tow or is that it is towing another vessel during day light hours. It is fitted with eyes at either end which swivel so as to stop distoritng the halyard on which it is hung. It is constructed with a hinge down the middle to allow the metal vains to be flat packed when not in use.
