Picture transfer-printed on glass depicting Nelson's funeral car, in the Painted Hall at Greenwich, inscribed below 'A Correct Representation of the Funeral Car which conveyed the Body of Lord Nelson from the Admiralty to St Paul's, Jany. 9th. 1806.' On the hangings of the car itself -'TRAFALGAR'; 'L'ORIENT' and 'SAN JOSEF', on the sides between escutcheons of Nelson's marital arms, and 'TRAFALGAR PALMAM QUI MERUIT FERAT' around the canopy. The picture is mounted in a black gesso frame.
