Lord Nelson Lying in State

Picture transfer-printed on glass depicting Lord Nelson lying in state in the Painted Hall, Greenwich. On the third day the pall was removed and three rather than two attendants stood each side of the coffin. The picture shows the third day, 7 January 1806. Inscribed below: 'LORD NELSON LYING IN STATE'. The picture is in a gold frame edged with velvet.
