Mug
Earthenware mug commemorating Sir Thomas Lipton's America's Cup challenge of 1899. It is transfer-printed in green with a starboard-broadside view of the yacht 'Shamrock' I and floral decoration. The sea is painted blue and there is gilding on the rim, yacht and on the flowers. The mug is inscribed 'SHAMROCK 1899' to the left of the yacht.
