Shield of arms
Wooden shield painted with arms of the Ordnance Office - Azure, three Field Pieces in pale or; on a chief argent, three cannon balls proper. Inscribed on a board above the shield is the motto: 'THE PEACE OF ORDNANCE'. Similar arms are painted on the reverse with one field piece and one cannon ball.
