First Class stateroom on the 'Aquitania' (1914)

Cabin interior on the passenger liner 'Aquitania' (1914) showing a two berth stateroom in the First Class accommodation on the Upper Deck (D Deck). This is cabin number D37 according to Bedford Lemere & Co daybooks.

It is an example of a stateroom constructed using the Wakeham Patent Cabin system, designed by W. G. Wakeham, Eagle Joinery Works, Sutton Harbour, Plymouth. The reflection of the camera in the mirror has been masked out on the negative.
