Obtained from the Inuit near Point Booth on 8 May 1869 by the Hall Search Expedition 1864-69. It has twelve nail holes and is stamped with two broad arrows. A label is tied on inscribed '33 lent by Miss S. Cracroft' (Lady Franklin's niece).
