Regional flag, Brittany
The regional flag of Britanny used as courtesy flag by the Island Cruising Club schooner 'Hoshi' 1909 on a cruise to Cameret in 1987. It is made of nylon, machine sewn, printed with a cord attached. The design has nine horizontal black and white stripes in the fly, the canton black ermine on a white field. 'Gwenn-ha-du' (black and white) Breton flag designed in 1923 by Morvan Marchal and widely used.
