Bell
A cow bell. Part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). It is made of sheet iron with a clapper. The 'New Yorker' 19 June 1978 described Peter Butchard gathering and audience by setting off: 'along the beach with them, ringing and alpine cowbell and collecting Pied Piperlike, a gradually lengthening procession of children behind him.'
