Shell
A mother of pearl shell, mounted on a dark, wooden backboard that mimics the shape of the shell. The shell is held in place with metal pins. The convex side of the shell is engraved with a scene of a chained, kneelings African with the words 'Flesh and fetters! Blood and bond!'.
