Crest
A heraldic crest in wood, painted and gilded, belonging to Admiral Sir John Duckworth (1748-1817). Description: A tower, the battlements partly demolished, from the top flames issuant proper, on the sinister side, a sea-lion erect azure, the paws pressing against the tower. The tower, sea lion and mantling in three separate pieces. In relief only, it may be a stall crest or from a coat of arms. Duckworth was made a Knight Companion of the Order of the Bath in 1801.
