Seal
Gilt metal swivel mounted fob seal set with a bloodstone. The bloodstone is engraved with: 1) a butterfly, 2) a flower turning towards the sun, 'A vous seul', 3) 'L'amitie est l'amour sans ailes'. Engraved on the setting are the initials 'EH' and 'HN', this suggests that the seal might be associated with Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and Emma, Lady Hamilton (circa 1765-1815).
