It is unknown when this plan was drawn. Berwick (1775) was refitted at Plymouth Dockyard in 1781, and refitted at Sheerness Dockyard after the battle of Dogger Bank in August 1781. She underwent a small to middling repair at Portsmouth Dockyard in 1786-87, before being captured by the French in March 1795.
