Model scaffolding
Wooden model for the scaffolding used to erect Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square in 1843. It was transferred to the National Maritime Museum from the Royal Naval Museum, Greenwich, in 1936. It is in its original glass case with black-painted wooden frame and brass fittings, and has its Royal Naval Museum metal label. For online access text please see the 'Notebook' icon.
