Reverse: The Spanish fleet on the rocks. Legend: 'TV . DEVS . MAGNVS . ET . MAGNA . FACIS . TV . SOLVS . DEVS' (Thou, God, art great and doest wondrous things; thou art God alone). Inscription: 'VENI . VIDI . VIVE . 1588' (Come, see, live).
