Legend: 'SIC CVNCTUS PELAGI CECIDIT FRAGOR' (Thus ceased the whole tumult of the sea). Reverse: View of Breda; above, the arms of England, France, Sweden, Denmark and the United Provinces upheld by a cherub on either side. Legend: 'NULLA SALUS BELLO, PACEM TE POSCIMUS OMNES' (There is no safety in war, to Thee we all sue for peace).
