Obverse: King William III crowned by Victory, above, a rudder in his hand, standing between Hibernia with her harp and Belgium with her staff and lion. Legend: 'WILHELM . III . D . G . MAG . BRIT . FRAN . ET . HIB . REX GALLORVM . VICTOR.' (Victorious over the French.)
Exergue: 'CONCORDANT'. (They agree).
Reverse: Naval action; above, diagonally, the signs of the zodiac on a band. Legend: 'SOLIS ITER.' (The course of the sun.) Exergue: 'VICT . NAV . DE GALLIS. MAX. DIE 29 May MDCXCII.' (The very great victory over the French.)
Inscription (on edge): 'CONCASTIGATVS GALLORVM FASTVS ET ASTVS FLVCTIBVS, ET PVGNA FRACTVS ATROCE FRAGOR.' (The pride and cunning of the French on the sea chastised and the crash effected by a bitter contest.) (School of Nuremberg)
