Obverse: A seated female figure (Aalborg), with musket and shield (with the arms of Copenhagen), holding, outstretched, a wreath towards distant ships and batteries. At her feet an open bag from which coins roll out. Legend: 'EN BORGER KRANDS.' (A citizen's reward.) Exergue: 'AALBORG 1801.'
