Medal commemorating harbour improvement at Copenhagen, 1692. Obverse: Bust of King Christian V in a long wig, drapery and order (right). Legend: 'CHRISTIANVS . V . D . G . REX . DAN . NOR . VAN . GOT.' (Christian V, by the Grace of God, King of Denmark, Norway, the Wends, the Goths.) Reverse: View of the harbour with wharves and shipping, the pillar of fire and cloud in the sky (right). Inscription: 'HIS DVCIBVS (EXOD.XIV).' (With these for our guides.) Exergue: 'NEC IRRITANTES NEC IRRITANDAE.' (Neither provoking nor to be provoked.) Inscription (on edge): 'SIC STANT CONSPICVAE REGALI IN SEDE CARINAE ET BENE MVNITI CASTELLA NATANTIA REGNI A. 1692.'
