        Medal commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Obverse: Bust of Admiral Nelson in a pigtail and uniform (right), medal around his neck.  Legend: 'HORATIVS NELSON.' Reverse: Memorial consisting of  a naval rostral column, adorned with four prows of antique galleys and laurel wreaths, from which lamps are suspended. A figure of Victory on the base. Legend: 'FAMAM QVI TERMINAT ASTRIS.' (Whose fame is bounded by [reaches to] the stars.) Exergue: 'VINC . HISP . ET GALL . CLASS  CECIDIT D . XXI . OCT . MDCCCV.' (He vanquished the Spanish and French fleets, and died on 21 October 1805.)
