Medal commemorating the capture of Gibraltar, 1704. Obverse: Within a laurel border in high relief on both sides, short bust of Queen Anne (left) with natural hair draped. Legend: 'ANNA . D . G . MAG . BR . FR . ET . HIB . REGINA.' Reverse: Inscription (incuse), 'Adml. Sir George Rooke's reward to John Ramsay for his gallt. Conduct at ye Capture of ye Fortress of Gibraltar in ye Year of Her Majesties Reign 1704.' Fitted with a ring and blue ribbon.
