Engraved commemorative coin
Obverse: Engraved on a thin plate a sea-captain standing, bidding farewell to a woman. Inscription above: 'M.D.' (either side) DRA. A.' (left) 'NOF. CUL. 17 91' (right). Reverse: The woman seated on the shore waving her hankerchief to the sailor standing between the masts of a brig under sail. Inscription (from his mouth) 'FARWELL TELL YOU RETURN'.
