Nylon-coated steel sledge
Steel sledge used with ski-doo [skidoo] sledge hauler by the Fiennes Transglobe Expedition. The metal was nylon-coated at Plastic Coatings Ltd, Winsford to provide corrosion protection in sub-zero temperatures and to prevent skin burns from the metal.
