Medal commemorating Polish Ocean Lines 40 years of Polish shipping across the Atlantic 1930 - 1970. Obverse: The liner 'Stefern Batory' with the 'Polonia' behind. The Polish eagle on a shield above, between the dates 1930 1970. Inscription: '40 LAT POLSKIEJ ZEGLUGI PRZEZ ATLANTYK.' Reverse: Chart of the North Atlantic with the routes marked from Gdeynia to Montreal and New York. Compass rose below and Polish Ocean lines badge above. On box lid: 'POLISH OCEAN LINES.' In a box with the same inscription as the medal plus an English translation.
