Vase
One of a pair of large baluster-shaped vases with wide mouths. It is painted on the front in purple with a figure representing Hope. Her left hand is raised, her right hand is down, an anchor lies on the ground. Sea and a small vessel are shown in the background. Around the neck of the vase is a pattern of anchors threaded on gilded blue ribbons. The borders do not extend to the back of the vase. AAA4477-AAA4478 are a pair.
