Bowl: Dia. 2.0" 95.1 cm) Gilt pocket compass in pinchbeck case, with 'D' ring at the top. Fitted with a needle locking mechanism operated by a lever at the top of the case.

Card: Dia. 1.8" (4.6 cm) White enamel with black markings. Graduated to 16 points and to 360 degrees by 5 degrees.

Needle: Length 1.8" (4.6 cm) Steel edge bar needle with jewelled pivot cap at centre.

Pivot: Unsighted.

In red leather case.
