Plate

Creamware soup plate, part of a dinner service. Transfer-printed in black in the centre is an oval stipple engraving of Rear-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) after Edridge (see PAD3895). The plate has a black, hand-painted rim. There are four similar items in the Museum's collection AAA4761-AAA4764.
