Letter to Benjamin Russell (a watchmaker) dated 8 December 1864 from George Airy arguing that the Greenwich Signals for time was the most accurate that act could furnish, and argues that Greenwich time is more convenient for Norwich than Norwich time is. Also included is a photograph of George Airy by John Wakins and the front of the envelope to Benjamin Russell.
