Jug
An earthenware jug with purple lustre decoration. It is hand-painted with a picture of a brig under sail on one side within a coloured floral wreath. On the other side, a similar wreath surrounding a verse: 'Success unto the hope/And prosperous may she be/Contentment to the Owners give/And from misfortunes free.' Under the lip: 'Capt. Iohn Frazer 1823'.
