Ceramic fragment
Ceramic fragment, half of an earthenware cup, printed in green near the top with a naval crown but otherwise plain white. The design was used for government supplied naval messware, printed in green for Chief Petty Officer's messes from 1923 and discontinued in 1941 when a similar pattern, printed in blue, was introduced.
