Coffee pot with lid

Coffee pot with a lid, used on the royal yachts. It is made of white porcelain and is hand-painted with brightly coloured flowers, with smaller flowers on the lid. Queen Victoria's royal monogram 'VR' in gilt is placed below the lip and all the borders are gilded. The pot has a scrolled handle and flared foot and there is a strainer inside the lip. The maker's mark is printed on the lid and base. The retailer's mark is no longer legible.
