Scabbard
Scabbard for straight-bladed dirk. The black leather scabbard has three gilt brass mounts. The top locket bears a ring at the back edge. The chape is square-tipped. The reverse of the top locket has the punched signature 'Gibbins Portsth'. Presumably the scabbard was shortened to fit the blade.
