Single sheet. Hand coloured engraving. Scale [circa 1:2,500,000]. North at 90 degrees. The border of the map is graduated for latitude and longitude from the meridian of Ferro. This is a map of ancient Britain and Ireland, showing Hadrian's and the Antonine walls, with placenames and tribal names from classical sources. The title cartouche is supported by ancient Britons, one with woad tattoos. The sea is decorated with 17th century ships.
