Brooch
Oval gilt metal brooch with a twisted wire border, containing a photographic portrait of naval rating Joseph Paul Hoskins (1837-1904) dating from circa 1860. The photograph is printed on paper. Glazed compartment on reverse of brooch lined with textile. The brooch fastens with a steel pin.
