Two sheets. Engraved. Scale: ca. 1:30 000 (bar). Cartographic Note: North at 282 degrees. Variation shown 12 degrees 42' W. Scales in statute and nautical miles from 29B onwards. There is an error in the latitude numbering on the top edge, with 63 degrees instead of 43, uncorrected throughout the sequence. Additional Places: Nova Scotia. Contents Note: Sailing directions are included in the title.
Plate changes: Imprint changed to 1779. 'PL.25.' added. Other features: Printed on Bates paper. Border coloured blue. Land tinted brown/green.
