Porcelain saucer, transfer-printed around the rim in blue with a line of straight and looped beading. The monogram 'OSNC' is printed in the centre and 'WHITE STAR LINE' is on the base. The retailer was Stonier & Co Ltd, Liverpool.
Monogram OSNC, refers to the Oceanic Steam Navigation Company, the official name of the White Star Line. This design, registered number 461740 was first registered circa 1907. There is also a version printed in brown.
