Toby jug

A beige, salt-glazed stoneware toby jug depicting the head of Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France (1769-1821), wearing a cocked hat, the imperial eagle forming the handle. The maker's name is impressed on an applied cartouche on the base.
