Figure
A Staffordshire, full-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The figure leans on a sword moulded in relief as part of the base and coloured. An anchor on the other side is treated in a similar way. He wears pink breeches, a black hat and a blue coat with the details picked out in gold, red epaulettes and a yellow sash. The back of the group is partly unmoulded and unpainted.
