Figure group

A Staffordshire figure group, inscribed in gold lettering on the base 'Death of Nelson'. The figure of Nelson, in uniform, hat and pink breeches, reclines on the deck supported by two officers, one seated to his right in a uniform coat and buff trousers, the other kneeling wearing an orange sash and green trousers. The left hand figure holds Nelson's hand. Two ropes with rings on the deck are picked out in black. The upper part of the figures are moulded and coloured at the back. The lower part of the group representing a seat, is moulded but uncoloured.
