A starboard broadside view of the general cargo ship Empire Grey (1944), lying at Jarrow Staith, River Tyne. The steam hopper barge T.I.C. No. 15 (1902) passing, heading down stream. Empire Grey left the Tyne on 31 May heading for Southend and then to Gold Beach, Normandy as part of Convoy ETM 6.
