Jar
A brown, salt-glazed stoneware jar, which probably held spirits, excavated from a well or cess pit behind the 'Plume of Feathers' public house, Greenwich, during building work in 1983. Impressed below the neck, the retailer's mark 'CHILD VICKERS & CO STONEY ST BORO'.
