In answer to your letter of the 24th inst; Mr Silvester (who is appointed by this Office to Gun the Fleet) has been on board the several Bomb vessels with Captain Austin, Master of Attendance on [Floate], who together have made a Survey of them and find them capable of carrying the Ordnance mentioned in our enclosure to you.
