Portrait plaque
A portrait plaque depicting Admiral of the Fleet Sir John Rushworth Jellicoe (1859-1935). The image is inscribed on a wooden plate on a brass mount. Inscribed with the signature: 'Rex Osborne', 'Admiral Sir John Jellicoe commander of the Home Fleets. Permanent souvenir of the Great European War 1914 - Qui vivra vera!' On a label on the reverse: 'British Production! Produced by the Arthur Cox Illustrating Co. Ltd, Ludgate Hill, Birmingham, England.'
