Royal George model schooner
Model schooner made of the wood of 'Royal George', which sank at Spithead in sank 1782. Handwritten label on base: 'This frigate was cut and rigged by John Menkie a native of Brighton and a brave Seaman of the RN from a veritable piece of oak from the Royal G--ge received from the Admiralty and presented as a keepsake to W.M. Mayfield 1843.'
