H.M.S. 'Victory' wooden block
A block of oak that has been polished on one side and was reportedly part of H.M.S. 'Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar. Written on a paper label are the words: 'PIECE OF OAK BEING PART OF THE DECK OF THE 'VICTORY' WHERE THE GREAT HERO LORD NELSON FELL - ON THE GLORIOUS BYT FATEFUL DAY OF OCTOBER.'
