Plate money. Roughly square copper plate. Stamped '1716 XII', '2 DALER SM'. Cancelled Swedish copper being exported as bullion. From the wreck of an unidentified merchantman circa 1780-1815, found in the South Edinburgh Channel, Thames Estuary.
