Brass plate

A brass plate with the signal flag identification number of HMY 'Britannia.' The plate has a screw hole in each corner and an etched border in the form of a rope around the edge. Etched at the bottom of the plate are the words “BENZIE COWES” Inscribed on the plate is a flag pole with flags attached. The top flag is square with a blue and white chequered pattern. The second flag is triangular, with a white background with a red dot in the middle. The third flag square and red with a triangular shaped part of the flag cut out. The forth flag is square and yellow. The plaque is incredibly tarnished.
