Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse chipped. Obverse: Half length figure of Piet Hein, in ruff and armour, right hand holding staff, left hand on hip. Legend: 'AFBEELDINGE V VERMAERDEN HELT PIETER PIETERZ HEYN'. Reverse: Nine circular shields. In the middle, the admiral's flagship between two Dunkirk privateers.
