Medal cast
Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse: A monument. Legend: 'DE FALDT MEN DANMARK STOD' (they fell but Denmark stood). Exergue: 'FULDFORT D . 2 . APR . 1894'. Reverse: Inscribed within oak and laurel wreath, pennant looped round staff below. 'FORTIENT VED MOD OG BLOD' (earned with courage and blood). Below: 'D . 2 . APRIL 1801'.
